Solo flow

Precision Solo Flow ® orifice fittings offer accuracy and convenience for metering both gas and liquid flows. These single chambered fittings are fast and simple to operate where line by-pass or pressure shut down is permitted.

Because of its one piece body, spillage is avoided, plus the metering station is not disturbed when changing plates,

Dual Chamber

ORIFICE PLATE SEALING UNITS give positive seal between orifice plate and body seats. They are available for a variety of services

PLATE CAREER protects orifice plate at all times while inserting or removing from fitting.

J Flow

The "J-Flow" Single Chamber Orifice fitting provides highly accurate orifice flow measurement and easy removal of orifice plates from a depressurized meter tube. Removal or inspection of orifice plates is easy with this simple design.

The Single Chamber J-Flow fitting is available in a complete range of sizes and pressure ratings. Single Chamber Fitting sizes 8" and larger use a shaft-driven plate carrier for easier removal of larger plates.

Meter Tubes

A meter tube consists of a length of pipe upstream of the fitting and a corresponding length of pipe downstream of the fitting. The orifice fitting itself can consist of a Solo Flow, Dual Chamber, J-Flow, or an Orifice Flange Union (OFU).

The building enclosed packages can be insulated or it can be non-insulated.

Orifice Plates

An orifice plate is a device used for measuring flow rate, for reducing pressure or for restricting flow. Either a volumetric or mass flow rate may be determined, depending on the calculation associated with the orifice plate.

It uses the same principle as a Venturi nozzle, namely Bernoulli's principle which states that there is a relationship between the pressure of the fluid and the velocity of the fluid. When the velocity increases, the pressure decreases and vice versa

Field Service

Precision Flow Field Services Group provides the necessary services to maintain your equipment in proper working order. These services improve meter accuracy, minimizing 'Lost and Unaccounted Gas' for measurement.

Our trained measurement specialists tear down, clean, inspect, and repair the meter tube assembly. New Parts, gaskets, and studs/nets will be replaced, as required. The meter tube will be put back into service after all repairs are done.
